EmployeeTraining

It is well known in the Computer Security Industry that no matter how good your computer network defenses are, a hacker can always utilize social engineering on a company’s untrained employees. A socially engineered (crafted) email that appears to come from one of your corporate officers can usually get someone in the company to open and download the attachment. NSI can come in and train your employees by showing them examples of what attackers do and how they do it to increase their level of understanding and make it much harder for hackers to socially engineer their way into your network. Training is the one most efficient and effective method to educate and make your employees "cyber wise". There are hackers from all over the world that are trying to get into networks the easy way and training cannot make your company impenetrable, but it can harden your defenses so attackers must try something else or move on to an easier target.

Contact us about creating a specific training plan tailored for your organization. Our instructors have years of experience in the Network Security field and utilize examples from our forensic team to show your staff exactly how an attacker manipulated his way into a network.

We recommend companies with hundreds of employees schedule at least a 90 minute training seminar that will cover examples of major hacker groups from the US, as well as, foreign countries. The seminar will include examples of specific types of attacks and what your staff should look for, walk them through how a socially engineered e-mail attack works, and what attackers look for and how to exploit the weakness. Specific topics can be added or deleted upon request. Our Instructors have provided this type of training class to Department of Defense and Corporate audiences.
